Valley Forge National Historic Park
Valley Forge National Historic Park has to be one of the best places for fall foliage views with hiking and history!
The 3,500-acre park takes you back to the times of the Revolutionary War history. The log cabins you see at the park are from when the Continental soldiers stayed there in 1777-1778, and there’s an area with cannons and a stone building where George Washington would meet with military officials.
History aside, there are stunning hiking trails that take you into the thick of autumn colors. I’d plan on spending about 3 hours there minimum if you do a hike.
